George Greig Named to Barron's 2008 Top Manager List William Blair International Growth Fund Manager George Greig has been named to Barron’s "Top 100" mutual fund manager list.
Barron's thirteenth annual ranking was published in the August 11, 2008 edition cover story, "America's Best Fund Managers."
Managers were rated by a Value Line formula according to how much risk-adjusted value they added relative to managers in the same category.
George Greig makes his 8th consecutive appearance, having been named to the list in 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 and 2001.
Value Line states that the best way to view this rating system is as a research tool, to be used with other research tools.
We congratulate George Greig on earning this excellent distinction, as well as all the other members of our International Funds’ Investment Management Team: Portfolio Managers Ken McAtamney, Todd McClone, David Merjan and Jeff Urbina; International Equity Specialist Stephanie Braming, and Research Analysts Andrew Flynn, Alaina Anderson, Joel Gomberg, Ajoy Reddi and Casey Preyss.
