George Greig Named to Barron's 2007 Top Manager List

William Blair International Growth Fund Manager George Greig has been named to Barron’s "Top 100" mutual fund manager list.

Barron's eleventh annual ranking was published in the August 13, 2007 edition cover story, "The Best Fund Managers."

Managers were rated by a Value Line formula according to how much risk-adjusted value they added relative to managers in the same category.

George Greig makes his seventh consecutive appearance, having been named to the list in 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 and 2001.

Value Line states that the best way to view this rating system is as a research tool, to be used with other research tools.

We congratulate George Greig on earning this excellent distinction, as well as all the other members of our International Funds’ Investment Management Team: Portfolio Managers Todd McClone, David Merjan and Jeff Urbina; Research Analysts Alaina Anderson, Joel Gomberg, Ken McAtamney and Casey Preyss, and International Equity Traders Joe Dobryzynski, Kristen Gaffud and Suzette Williams.

We encourage you to learn more about the William Blair International Growth Fund.
